Weekender… Let’s Get Physicsall, Physicsall
Happy weekend all, to the four people remaining who didn’t close the browser window in disgust when they saw the terrible pun in the headline.
So to justify the bad joke, here’s 5 of our favourite physics-puzzlers now on the site – games where you have to use weight, force and trajectory to get along. Here we go…

Okay, it won’t be officially winter for a good couple of months, but given the weather we can officially say Summer’s over, and that’s good enough for me. Take revenge on the imminent snowmen by firing bombs at them, getting your angle and power exactly right to send them flying…

Pile up the grinning pieces to prevent them from falling in this fun, addictive puzzle game. Each level will present you with a certain number of pieces – if a single one falls you’ll have failed. Can you keep your nerve, and the blocks happy?
How about basketball? That’s simple right? Well, not if the hoop is hidden behind a wall, or is blocked by crates. Pick the right angle, and fire the shots up into the net – oh, and you’ll have to score 3/5 to progress – we can’t have you getting by on a flukey shot, can we?
Your mission is simple – get the ball from the start to the goal. Put together the various machine pieces to send the ball on its merry way in this devious puzzle game. Just don’t blame me if you’re up at 3am trying to figure out that last level…

Construct bridges to support both your workers and the building supplies they carry in this addictive construction game. There’s nothing more heart-breaking than seeing a bridge fall apart as the last man carries the last building material across. Trust me.
Right, that’s enough science for one weekend (or 3) – have a good one!
